Ok!!
Let's complete fixing a cracked nail!!
(If you're looking for Part 1, please click here)
(If you're looking for Part 2, please click here)
15. Apply a thin layer of glue on the silk.
16. Sprinkle Filler Powder to cover the glue
from 5cm (about 2 inches) above the nail.
17. Remove the powder carefully from the skin.
(This will avoid gluing your skin!)
squeeze out some glue to let the powder absorb it.
(Please do not use a brush type glue or the brush will go hard)
19. Wait for the glue to get dry and
repeat steps 15 to 18 for 2~3 times.
20. It looks like this.
The surface is a little bumpy at this stage,
but the crack shouldn't move any more.
21. File and shape the nail.
22. Make the surface smooth,
using a sponge buffer.
(Please be careful not to buff the natural nail)
23. Make the entire surface of the nail shiny,
using a smooth sponge buffer or shiner.
Completed!!
You can still see the crack, but it doesn't move at all,
so it is not gonna crack any further(^-^)v
I recommend you to do this repair
when a crack is deep and may expose the nail bed
(pink part of the nail)
like in the photo above.
Well,
I'm sorry for taking so long to finish this tutorial.
I hope it helps you(^-^)
Thank you~!!
